Latests Projects

Umbilical Cord Hat, from Knitty Gritty Thoughts, great pattern, very easy.

Pirate Bootees from 50 baby Bootees to knit.

Kimono, from here

Duck feet, from the same bootees book (50 baby bootees)

A hat, loosely based on the 'turn a square' hat, in Ravelry. But baby size and with ribbed texture. I am now making a pair of mittens to go with this hat. Pattern will follow.

Catch that mouse!

More or less following the instructions from here, I managed to create an alternative to our foreams. No longer do children at the school think that I self harm, sucess!
 And it is appropriatedly Easter!

No problem sharing.
And it's worth a cuddle.

Fungi

Here is a toasty warm hat guaranteed not to itch, ever. The inside is knitted with a vegetable yarn (cotton, soya or bamboo) while the outside is pure wool, in the middle you'll get a layer of warm air, without having to knit it.

The other two layers you'll have to knit, but it is done in no time and in one piece, beginning at the top of the inner layer and finishing at the top outside. The wavy pattern is easy, quick and fun, and would work in many color combinations. In the pattern there are two versions, depending on your color combination one might work better than other.

It is called fungi because they have been sprouting without effort this autumn.

And on Barnaby's head:

The other hat ended up on my Dad, pics of that coming soon.
